GuestList started with a simple observation: the best evenings in a city rarely show up on a billboard. They happen when someone opens their dining table, rooftop, or studio to a handful of neighbours who share the same curiosity. We built GuestList to make those gatherings discoverable, trustworthy, and easy to join — without turning them into loud, anonymous ticket events.
Our story
We are based in Hyderabad and launched GuestList city by city. Hosts post intimate events — home dinners, morning runs, pottery circles, language exchanges — and set exactly how many people can come. Guests browse by neighbourhood, request a spot, and coordinate in one group chat once confirmed. Addresses stay private until shortly before the event so hosts feel safe opening their doors.
Today thousands of bookings flow through GuestList every month. We are still early, still listening, and still obsessed with the details that make a small gathering feel special: the right headcount, the right reveal time, the right nudge when someone new joins the chat.
What we believe
- Small is beautiful. Capacity limits are a feature, not a bug. The best events feel personal.
- Trust is earned. Phone verification, host profiles, and reviews help you know who you are meeting.
- Privacy protects hosts. Exact venues unlock on a schedule so hosts control when and where they are exposed.
- Technology should get out of the way. Book, chat, show up. We handle the admin in the background.
Who runs GuestList
GuestList is a product of Codemint Labs, a software company incorporated in India and headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana. We design, build, and operate the platform — payments, messaging, safety tooling, and the apps you use every day.
Independent hosts create and run their own events. GuestList is the marketplace and tooling layer; unless we explicitly say otherwise on an event page, we are not the organiser of a gathering.
